Family Support Program

 The Family Support Program, a free service of the Manhasset/Great Neck EOC, provides support and assistance to families in the Manhasset and Great Neck communities.  An important objective of the program is the identification of situations either at home or in the community that may adversely affect children’s ability to achieve success both in school and in the community at large. 

Family Support Program staff offers individualized services tailored to meet each family’s concerns.  In private, confidential meetings with family members, the staff will listen to these concerns, answer questions, help identify possible options and solutions, and, if needed, offer referrals for additional services.

The Family Support Program has developed partnerships with a variety of community based organizations, government agencies, businesses, schools, and health/mental health care providers all of whom share a dedication to assisting families with the challenges of raising happy, healthy, and productive children.

In collaboration with these community partners, the Family Support Program staff is involved in the planning and development of a variety of programs, workshops, and activities to which all community residents are invited.
